At Cupid Intimates, we value the communities that host our facilities and serve as hometowns for many of
our employees. We believe we have the responsibility to do what we can to be a good corporate citizen and
give back to the local areas that have supported our operations over many years.
Here are some examples of our efforts: |

- We partnered with the Mayor of Masaya, teachers, and parents of students to help address the needs of
the "Brothers of Japan" School. (2008-2010)
- We cleaned and painted interior and exterior walls.
- We donated paint to the Health Center of Masaya. (2013)

We’re helping address the educational needs of the Andrés Castro School, and its 247 students, in Nindirí. (2012 - 2013)

We’ve renovated the kitchen, restrooms, and dining area, and added a storage room for the kitchen.

In response to the novel coronavirus pandemic, we donated our own pandemic-planning supplies - 240 N95 respirators and 160 medical gowns – to AllianceHealth Ponca City (Ponca City’s hospital) for use by its staff when treating patients with Covid-19 and other ailments. (2020)

We donated money for the creation of a community softball complex for the city of Blackwell. (2004-2009)

Each year, we donate money, company facilities, time, and resources to the Blackwell-Tonkawa Relay for Life, an annual fundraiser for cancer research. (1998 – Present)
In addition, we donate a panty to every participant at the Relay for a themed “Southwest Cupid Panty Lap.”

For the 2010-2011 fundraising year, the American Cancer Society recognized our Southwest Cupid Relay-for-Life team for having placed 15th (out of 1600 teams) in the state of Oklahoma for the amount of money raised. Given the small size of our surrounding communities, we're very proud of this achievement.
For the 2011–2012 fundraising year, our Southwest Cupid Relay-for-Life team raised more money than it had ever raised in any previous year.

We donated fabric to Oklahoma Home and Community Education, Inc. to be used in sewing projects. The fabric was used to make handkerchief dolls for children receiving immunizations, as well as head scarves for cancer patients. (2013)

We donate our employees' company time to mentor college students in Pennsylvania.
We hold a yearly holiday raffle, the proceeds of which are donated to various charities chosen by our employees. These have included the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Forgotten Felines, and the USO.
We matched our employees' financial contributions that were made to the Northampton County SPCA (presently The Center for Animal Health & Welfare). The money was used to buy food and supplies for animals. (2007, 2008)

We donated money, and provided facilities, so that our employees could participate in a “Christmas in July” initiative overseen by Operation Shoebox, an organization which sends care packages and letters to American troops deployed overseas. Our design studio staff sewed Christmas stockings, filled them with snacks, toiletries, magazines, and other small but very welcomed comforts of home (that we all tend to take for granted), and sent them to troops serving our country in Afghanistan. We donated money to the American Red Cross for recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. (2005)
We donated $10,000 to the Cancer Research Institute to encourage further research and development of cancer immunotherapy. (2017)
