This grande dame slips on her dancing shoes and girdle every Friday evening.Age: 72Height: 5’3" Size: 8 Shapewear Size: Medium Bra Size: 36B About Me: My credo is “Life doesn’t begin until you’re 65!” I read, garden, and dance as often as possible. I’ve worn a girdle since the 1950s. It’s just like a bra; it’s the foundation of everything I wear. I like to shop by catalogue whenever possible, but they’re not as available as they once were. I prefer wearing cotton/polyester blends. I find them easier to care for, and more comfortable to wear, than other fabrics. I line dry everything, especially my intimate apparel. When I find bra and girdle styles I love, I wear them until they’re discontinued; only then will I try new styles. These Are Betty’s Issues.
